Frequently Asked Questions

1. Can my company use this for employees?

Our solutions are suitable for everything from a single user up to a large business with hundreds of hosted desktops, we can also provide a central management system or reseller plans. Please reach out to us for more information.

2. What devices will I be able to connect from?

Our services use the Remote Desktop Port (RDP) for connection, as such your can download the Microsoft Remote Desktop Client from your local App Store or Microsoft directly. It will work on virtually all platforms including Windows, Mac, Linux, IOS or Android.

3. Do I need a fast and reliable broadband connection?

A faster and more reliable connection will provide you with the best experience but its not a requirement. One of the benefits of a hosted desktop is that if your connection drops you won’t lose anything in progress as the local connection to the network won’t drop.

4. How many people can connect to a hosted desktop?

With our standard product we allow 1 active connection per desktop. This is because we have designed the product to be individual to the end user, you can though add multiple environments and if multiple logins are needed.

5. Do I need to take backups?

You are more than welcome to take your own backups but we also take daily snapshots of your environment at both file and machine level. This includes multiple rollback points and can be increased on demand all the way up to live backups.

6. What programs can I run from a hosted desktop?

You are able to install and run any application which is compatible with windows 10 or 11 in the same way as you would on a local computer. The only limitation is anything which would need GPU support as the host nodes do not have GPU Passover support.
